Screenprinting on linen and paper
Kate Westcott creates contemporary and striking designs from her original drawings. The images are transferred by hand onto screens for printing on linen and handmade paper. Each design is drawn and painted onto a screen, making a negative to print with.
When the screen is ready the image is then printed on individual pieces of linen and paper. The linen is made up into tablecloths, napkins, runners and more; all are heat-cured making the items washable.
