BS9 Arts Trail 2021

We are currently planning to hold the BS9 Arts Trail next summer, as a venue based trail that will conform to Covid Guidance for Public Events.

We shall circulate more up to date information, probably in October/ November.

In the meantime, we wish all our artists and patrons a healthy and productive year, and look forward to seeing you again at the next BS9 Arts Trail.

All the very best, BS9 Arts

Lewis has a passion for landscape and street photography.  Through his landscape photography, Lewis aims to give the viewer a sense of the moment in which the image was captured by planning carefully around seasons, time-of-day and weather to tell the story.  Often working with light around sunrise and sunset, he can dramatise the effect of the sun’s angle whilst capturing the vivid colours at the ‘golden hour’.

Through street photography he explores structures, patterns and forms often using shadows and reflections to add depth and intrigue to the composition.

Born on the Devon coast, Lewis’ passion for photography was born from the vibrant rolling landscapes of the Devon hills and coastlines, contrasted by the Victorian architecture of a coastal town with heritage piers and railways.  Lewis graduated with BA hons in Fine Art from the University of the West of England nearly 20 years ago and continues to live, work and be inspired by Bristol.
