Paintings, Prints and cards mainly of Bristol & the South West.

Pam Kaye

After gaining a BA Honours Degree in 3 Dimensional Design followed by an MA in Industrial Design and Technology she enjoyed a career in industry. During this time she was awarded a travelling scholarship to the United States.

A change of focus led to a Post Graduate Diploma in print making at the University of the West of England followed by a degree in History of Art with the Open University.

Working in both oils and watercolour, Bristol and the South West provide the main inspiration for her paintings, in which she captures the essence of place through light and colour. Her recent work includes some experimental Printmaking and a venture into making illustrated Artists Books.

Her work has been exhibited at the National Centre for Applied Art, The Mall Galleries and Bank Side in London and at the Royal West of England Academy and Bath Society of Artists Open Exhibitions.  She has twice won the Dawn Sidoli Painting Prize at the Clifton Arts Summer Exhibition.
