This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection and use of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
BS9 Arts Trail will never share member artists' information with any other third parties.
INFORMATION WE HOLD
1.Personal information: name, address, email address etc; we store this data and use via email to contact artists
2.Marketing information: exhibition name, opening time, location and artists' statement etc. We deem this information as critical to share publicly to promote artists' work. If artists provide information that could be classed as personal but that is necessary to promote their work (e.g. their personal email or phone number for public to contact them about their work) then we publish it on our website. Participating artists are advised to consider this when submitting their marketing information.
We use artist members' information to:
- keep you informed about news concerning the BS9 trail and local art-related events that we think you may find interesting;
- carry out our obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us;
- communicate with you;
- administer our site and for internal operations;
- keep our site safe and secure;
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and for security.
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
We store data in two main repositories (Google Docs and our webhosting solution). Copies of the data may, at times, also be held on the personal devices of the Trail Organisers as relevant to the work in hand (eg preparation of the Trail Map/Guide or website).
Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this activity.
Consent for Data is deemed to have been given when a submission for Trail participation is received. Although we generally use this data to promote the current Trail, we reserve the right to make it available via our website Archive and occasionally to use it to promote a future Trail across any of our channels.
We do not collect any financial data from Trail participants. Monies for the Trail are collected via bank transfer from members and members provide us with reference data only (ie the name of the payer for each transaction) so we can reconcile the references against amounts received.
