Aly is a visual artist working through the medium of textiles. Her work is energetic and vibrant. She works with embroidery, appliqué, fabric collage and paint. She has been inspired by travel, landscape, nature, and the people she has met along the way.

Aly uses fabrics collected from places she has visited across the world. A range of contrasting fabrics, recycled saris, silks, indigo-dyed cottons, African fabric are all combined in her textiles. She also dyes her own materials. She loves exploring patterns, colour and the story behind the fabrics. She has a range of original pieces, prints, cards and welcomes commissioned work.
