Angela was originally inspired by a creative embroidery course that she attended for a number of years, as well as other art and textile based courses. Since retiring she has had the time to experiment with other techniques and materials and now enjoys creating textile-based mixed media pictures.

She takes inspiration from nature and enjoys the freedom of abstract landscapes in which she can indulge her love of colour and texture. She gets pleasure from the way each picture evolves differently to produce a unique piece.
