Chris Querée has painted in acrylics for a long time on both canvas and furniture. 

Now he prints, relief prints by hand on blocks of wood, lino and engraving into wood.

He enjoys various styles of printing, makes his own blocks and prints small editions in his workshop. Found objects find a way into his monoprints.

The variety of styles reflects the fact that he enjoys finding the abstract in the world and he enjoys trying to show that it is the brain that sees rather than the eyes, which are often fooled.
