Jenny Ashby

Ceramics

Jenny, the resident potter at Wot Pots, has spent the last 12 years sharing her passion for pottery by teaching in her beautiful studio at Westbury Wildlife Park. She had shifted her focus from selling her creations to teaching, finding immense joy in helping others experience the therapeutic and tactile magic of working with clay—a medium she’s deeply passionate about.

The downtime brought by Covid lockdowns, along with a recent home renovation, gave Jenny the chance to create for herself once again. She thoroughly enjoyed crafting handmade tiles, lampshades, and a custom-designed hand basin for her home, rediscovering the joy of making unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Now, she’s excited to regularly create bespoke items for others.

Jenny works primarily on the wheel but also makes pottery using imprinted slabs.

During the trail, Jenny will be showcasing her work and taking custom orders for hand basins and lampshades.
