I am an eternal explorer of the world around me and my relationship to it, my experience of it, and my emotions within it.

Drawing plays an important part in my practice and those drawings or studies can span the range  from direct observation, to mark exercises or purely about the process of using a particular medium or painting/drawing tool. The paintings are not a direct result of a drawing or a photo but the accumulative experience and emotion gathered. Often a painting will take on its on life. A mark or a colour might trigger a memory of another experience and off it goes on its own journey.
