Toni Burrows was born in Northampton. She studied at Nottingham Trent Art College where she specialised in fine art. For 25 years she has worked in the medium of mosaic, mainly using recycled materials. She is also the author and illustrator of the children's books; 'The Last Apple on the Tree’ and ‘The Mermaid and the Tower’.
