After a painting Holiday to Tuscany in 2016 which sparked Mark’s interest in watercolours and to cut a long story short  has been enjoying splashing paint about ever since.

Encouraged  to start exhibiting in 2017 Mark has taken part in several previous BS9 art trails and various other exhibitions RWA friends, Clifton Arts etc…

For the last couple of years he has been experimenting with Acrylics and mixed media but still loves watercolour which he still regards as his favourite medium. 

Having grown up on The Wirral peninsular next to the sea with it’s vast skies, huge sand flats and dramatic sunsets, these elements often find there way into his work, which has taken on something of a semi abstract feel.
