Mary studied illustration and printmaking, and worked as a book illustrator in London.

She now concentrates on relief printing, mixed media and collage, working from home using Japanese papers and a baren.

Her work is more reactive to inner ideas than subject based though a sea theme runs through much of her work. Sketchbook drawing is always key and the starting point for her printmaking.

She has exhibited in the RWA Autumn Open and Bath Open Print exhibitions.
