Michelle Hinshelwood
Original Etchings
Michelle is an artist living and working in Bristol. She creates original handprinted etchings using a variety of techniques and materials, from traditional copper etchings to more modern methods such as photopolymer intaglio prints and Drypoint. Each plate is made by hand and each etching is painstakingly handprinted on a manual press in small limited editions.
Michelle will have some of the original plates used for her work at the arts trail for visitors to see and touch and will happily talk about the process of creating original etchings.
Michelle is member of Spike Print Studio in Bristol, she has exhibited at the RWA Bristol, Southbank Printmakers London, 44AD Gallery Bath, Spike Studios, Create Centre Bristol, Transitions 17 Middlesbrough, Clevedon Art Club, Ironbridge Fine Arts.
