Drawing on his time spent working on urban regeneration projects, Simon produces landscape and abstract oil paintings that seek to capture the magic that is around us in the city.

He focuses on the parts of the city that lie behind our everyday experience of city life - the back lanes of the residential areas, the spaces under the flyovers, and the wild places that exist within the urban area.
